Worn to:
G-Anime 2014 (Gatineau, QC)
Anime North 2014 (Toronto, ON)
Cost to make: $0 (100% recycled material!)
Originally I wasn't going to do Jake for G-Anime, but then the week before the convention I decided I'd try to get him done so that I could wear him with my friend Mike as God Tier Dirk.
The cape, hood, faux sleeves and bottoms are all spandex that was originally bought for the Fancy Tier. So I recycled it for this. I made the patterns for all. The hood and cape are lined with a lighter yellow of a stiffer material.
The shirt is the left over yellow fabric from Izayoi. The symbol is drawn on freehand and then painted.
The belt is extra fabric left from making Mike's Fancy Tier costume. It secures in the back with snap fasteners.
Entered the masquerade at G-Anime 2014 more for fun than anything. I was shocked at how brave I was to go on stage in Jake. Most revealing cosplay I've worn legs-wise (and in terms of my butt!)
